Narwhal - System Maintenance
Navy DSRC Preventive Maintenance (PM) for the Cray EX system, Narwhal, is scheduled from 0800 CST (1400Z) Tuesday, 29 November 2022 to 1600 CST (2200Z) Wednesday, 07 December 2022.
The primary focus of this maintenance is to replace the coolant used within the system. During this time, portions of the system (1/3 at a time) will be unavailable for usage until all work is complete. Users may see extended wait times for jobs, but PBS batch jobs will continue to run on the remaining 2/3 of the system.
